October Fun.
Going into the second full week of October, all I can think about is Halloween, Apple Cider, Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Spice Fraps, Pumpkin Patches, Hay Rides, and Haunted Houses. To me, there are so many fabulous things about the fall months! As a kid, Halloween was always the holiday I looked forward to. Roll creativity! I was never into the costumes that were skimpy or scary but rather ones that took thought and effort. Even in college, I made my costume from pieces and parts because what college student has 50 bucks to spend on something you wear for one night? Or for that matter, who would want to spend that much? Last year the hubby and I had only been here for a little over 3 months so we knew no one and ditched out on Halloween and went to the movies instead. Although I was happy to not be dealing with the dogs barking at every noise they heard, I felt like the holiday never even happened. So when Spooky Eyes contacted me about trying out their Halloween line of contacts I was game! Of course, I went for the white contact lenses because aren't those just the creepiest! Who knows if I will actually use them but boy do they give me some awesome ideas!
I know some of you may be nervous to try them out because they are indeed contacts but you can barely feel them. I wear regular contacts and they were about the same consistency. On my finger I could tell they were a tad bit thicker but once in my eye they didn't feel any different. As for the texture, I didn't notice a difference from the ones I wear everyday. As I said before, I was always one who enjoyed coming up with fun and new ideas for costumes and I think having some colorful contacts would add the perfect finishing touch to any costume! If your not up for the whole crazy colors like I was, try out the colored pairs for fun! They have colors from violet to hazel, haven't you always wondered what you would look like with different colored eyes?
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to hear me out about something other than style.
