Bridal Shower/Wedding Update.

So as you all know I had my second and final bridal shower the other day and yesterday was our good friend's wedding!  We had THE best time, oh it was so fun!!  Even though I am not from here, Austin and I have been together for 4 years now and I have been coming to Indiana since then, so I feel really super close with everyone here.  Sad thing, I feel closer with people here, than I do in my own hometown.  It is just such a tight nit community and everyone I have met here is truly amazing.  Anyhow, I always take my camera to events like the wedding and never take any pictures ha I get so excited about the food and dancing, it simply slips my mind and then by the time I remember "Oooo pictures" I shouldn't be taking them.  Good news is my shower was adorable and I took pictures before everyone started arriving.

How cute is everything!?  They did such a good job :)

We played some games and one ended with me receiving lingerie, I don't know why but I was bright red holding it up in front of everyone haha.  Usually stuff like that doesn't bother me, but maybe because it was all of Austin's family and lots of them I had not met before.  Whatever, it was such a good time, the food was oh so good and we ended up, yet again, with a lot of very nice things.  Makes it that much more exciting to get our own place and be able to use all the wonderful things people got us.

With our friend's wedding over, it really puts into perspective our wedding date.  I mean, I knew it was coming up but I was like "Well Duke and Brittney's wedding is before ours so we still have time".  Guess what Jennie, their wedding is over so yours is next!  AHHH!  Don't get me wrong, this is one happy girl and I couldn't imagine marrying anyone else, but then I start thinking of all the things we still have to do, little things, lots of little things.....Oh well it will all work out, right?! Right.

On our way to Ohio today for a few last minute things then off for good to SC, so until then, thanks for reading and enjoy your Memorial Day.
xx

  2. Glad to stop by your blog!! Seriously the bridal décor looks amazing. Recently attended my cousin’s bridal shower at one of Los Angeles wedding venues where her sister hosted and arranged everything fabulously. It was really an enjoyable one.
