Patterned Maxi.

The weather has continued to be an absolute scorcher, but I am learning to deal with it.....by living in dresses ha! This one is very different from anything I have in my closet. I have never been drawn to orange or tribal-ish prints but this one caught my eye and was so perfect for this summer heat. The dress is super light weight and has the absolute cutest slit on the side to show a little leg ;).

Although I was never much of an orange fan I am loving the color this summer!

For a few years now I have seen everyone down here wearing Jack Rogers sandals. I never thought they were overly cute at first, but the more I saw them the more I wanted a pair. However, the price tag was a little steep (in my opinion) for a pair of sandals. Since it's mostly summer weather here I wear my sandals pretty much everyday which is what made me re-think them. Then, I took a little trip to Ohio a few weeks back and found this gold pair at Nordstrom Rack on sale. They don't have them online anymore, but the new Lauren's are very similar so I linked those below! Now that I have my own pair I wear them almost everyday. Guys, they are THE coziest sandals I have ever worn! I love getting new shoes but I hate the "break in" period where you end up with blisters because they are so stiff and not formed to your foot yet. Well, these sandals were not the case at all! The day I put them on I didn't take them off for hours and my feet were perfectly content. I have had no issues with discomfort what so ever! Yes they are expensive but they do go on sale so keep your eyes out for that.
