Pattern with a Touch of Turquoise.

Hi Gorgeous,

Today is my day off, I always look forward to this day except that I usually spend this time running around getting everything done before I start another week of work.  Good news though, my puppy will be here in a week and I can't wait!!  I have never been this long without her, I am going to freak when I see her :)

This outfit is one I wore out last night to a surprised dinner with my aunt and uncle.  Since all our family is about 12 hours or so away, there isn't always visits to the area.  It just so happens that they got a free two week vacation, so dinner and drinks were in order.  We went to this casual place called The Dispensary; people playing corn hole, live music, drinking, and eating.  Definitely my kind of place!

This outfit consists of a simple black, ruffled tank paired with a patterned skirt from Banana Republic.  I completely forgot I had this skirt but the best thing about moving is unpacking and remembering all the clothes you never wore.  You will probably see much more of this skirt.  The pattern is a perfect tribal look that can go with just about anything, casual or dressy.

I did more of a dressy look this time because we were going out.  To simplify it, I would pair it with a simple graphic tee and light weight jewelry, versus the chunky necklace I chose for the dress up look.  The necklace has been in multiple posts of mine like here, and I have bragged up and down about the boutique it's from.  I am still totally obsessed and even more so now because they announced on instagram they are opening a store two hours away from me in Columbia, SC!!  I will most likely be making a trip there once a week :)

Here is a close up look of the outfit!

I decided to add some simple flowery sandals to this look.  They are easy to walk around in all day and add a perfect amount of femininity.

Hope you're enjoying your weekend and thanks for reading!!
xx
