Black Attack!

Hello lovebugs!

I hope you all had an amazing fourth!  I on the other hand am getting over a cold, can you believe it, in the middle of summer I got a cold.  Lucky for me I worked so much that I didn't have much time to think about being sick.  So that being said my fourth consisted of a 9 hour shift at work followed by a movie night at home with my babe and lots of sleep.

This outfit is one that can be easily transitioned from day to night.  This would be night look but I would add my black MK chain flap bag.  The heels are definitely one for night time, if your daring enough to rock them in the day time go for it, I am not as daring.  I would trade heels for sandals or a cute summery wedge for the day look and keep the rest simple. 

These pieces are all older but such neutral and simple pieces that can be paired with a lot of stuff.  The top is not cropped but its shorter which I love.  It's super comfortable and the sweater material is perfect for the transition from fall to spring because of the short sleeve..

The shorts are silk and super comfy.  They have a giant bow on the side but you can also make it a knot or something creative, there is just a lot of material so the bow is the best I have found.  These beauts are from express, got them on sale after stalking them online forever.  Because they are black you can honestly wear them with just about anything.

I chose these heels to give the outfit a little bit of edge. The are kind of high but really comfortable!  To me these shoes are mainly for night time.
